Dr Kristie Dellar
Dr Kristie Dellar is a psychologist with over nine years of experience working in Youth Justice. Dr Dellar completed her PhD at Curtin University in 2022 and her work has a particular focus on the YLS/CMI risk assessment tool and the differences in criminogenic risk/need profiles for Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth. She is a Master Trainer in the YLS/CMI 2.0 with MHS systems and has delivered training workshops and presentations to youth justice staff around Australia and New Zealand. Dr Dellar has published research in international peer-reviewed journals, and she continues to conduct research with the aim of reducing the overrepresentation of Indigenous youth in the Australian criminal justice system.

YLS/CMI 2.0 Training
Online or in-person, the Youth Level of Service/Case Management Inventory (YLS/CMI 2.0) is one of the most commonly used and widely researched instruments for risk/needs assessment in young offenders. Presented by one of only 18 Master Trainers in the world, this workshop will train you in the use of the YLS/CMI 2.0 while earning 7.5 hours of valuable Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Consultation
Dr Kristie Dellar is available for consultation regarding youth justice risk assessment and management practices, effective program development and delivery, and youth justice practise resources. Dr Dellar is able to tailor training to the particular needs of the organisation when required. As a trainer with a wealth of experience, she is efficient at delivering content across a range of different systems and contexts.
